ITINERARY

Day 1: USA/CANADA TO HANOI

Fly to Hanoi from USA/Canada.

**depends on your departure city, you may have to depart from your departure city 1 day earlier than the itinerary departure date. 

Day 2: HANOI ARRIVAL

Arriving in 【Hanoi Noi Bai airport】, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the city.

【One Or More stopover depends on departure city. Base on the airline"s policy, stopover of more than 6 hours, accommodation will be provided for free.】

Day 3: HANOI - HA LONG BAY CRUISE

This morning, start your Halong Bay Day Cruise with the pickup from your hotel in the morning.


Embark on the boat and set sail on Halong Bay:

08.00 – 8.30: Leave Ha Noi city for Ha Long International Cruise Port in Bai Chay town, Ha Long city. Refresh up at the lounge.

12.00 – 12.30Embark Starlight Cruise. Enjoy welcome drink and get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

13.15: Have lunch while cruising in the magnificent Ha Long Bay, admiring the fascinating nature, then anchor at Titop Island area. 

15.00 – 16.00: Join a guided visit to Sung Sot Cave (also called Amazing Cave), one of the biggest and the most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay.

16.00 – 17.00: Climb to the peak of Titop Island for the panorama view of the bay. Going down and relaxing on the beach, swimming in the crystal water.

17.20: Return Starlight Cruise, enjoying the sunset while relaxing with Happy hour from now to dinner time at the bar.

18.00: Enjoy happy with various drinks on discounts. Try mini-golf on the top deck or take part in a cooking demonstration and food décor with our Chef.

19.00 – 21.00: Dinner is served. Private dinner is available on requested.

21.00 – 22.00: Time to join squid fishing with the crew, sing karaoke or just laze around or relax in your cabin.

Note: Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather.

Day 4: HALONG BAY-HANOI

06.30: Welcome a new day with amazing dawn on the Legendary Gulf of Tonkin. Refresh your body & soul by a Tai-chi lesson on sundeck.

07.00 – 08.00: Catch morning view of seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast while charming the labyrinth of Karst. 

08:00 – 9.00: Join a guided to explore hidden parts of the bay, Luon cave. You share a sampan with other tourists with a local rower or taking a kayak on your own.

09:00: Return to Starlight Cruise for shower.

09.30: Check out your room. Starlight Cruise weighs the anchor to continue to roam the picturesque route toward Bai Chay bridge for photos.

10.50: Have lunch.

11.30 – 11.45: Disembark. Cruise ends.

12.00 – 16.30: Transfer back to Ha Noi City and trip finishes at the hotel around 16.30.

Arriving at the pier, you will be picked up for the transfer back to Hanoi. Check-in hotel and enjoy rest of day at leisure.

Day 5: HANOI CITY TOUR – NIGHT TRAIN TO HUE

After breakfast, depart to visit the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. Close by is The Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh and the former presidents house on stilts. Continue to picturesque West Lake and visit the sixth century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda. Afternoon visit the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university, functioned for an incredible 700 years and its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Next, we go to visit Hanoi Old Quarter also known as the ’36 In the water. Take a walking tour around Hoan Kiem Lake. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is a great place to explore the lifestyle of Hanoians. At this point, you will have some leisure time until transfer to Hanoi station for a night train to Hue.

Day 6: HUE - DA NANG

Arrival at Hue station you will be picked up for breakfast at local restaurant and embark on half day Hue city tour with a visit to the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Then depart for Thien Mu (Celestial Lady) Pagoda overlooking the Perfume River constructed in 1601, the 21-meter tower is the centerpiece of the pagoda and represents seven reincarnations of Buddha. In the afternoon drive to Da Nang and overnight.

Day 7: DA NANG - HOI AN - DA NANG

After breakfast transfer to Hoi An, a major port in the 17th and 18th centuries, where your tour group will take a walking tour of the Ancient Town to visit former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, a Chinese communal hall and the colorful market. Around the town we can see a numerous Art galleries and tailor shops, here you will have the incredible opportunity to get some custom made-to-order clothes.

Day 8: DA NANG - SIEM REAP

Today, transfer to the Da Nang airport for flight to Siem Reap, gateway to the Angkor temples.

Upon arrival, your Cambodia tour representative will meet you at Siem Reap Airport after you exit at the baggage collection, and arrange transfer for you to the hotel.

Day 9: SIEM REAP

Today, you"ll understand why the architectural masterpieces of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat, are designated as one of the "Seven Wonders of the World". This sprawling city, built by Khmer kings was once home to more than one million people at the height of the empire.

On the visit to the fortified city of Angkor Thom, visit the Elephants Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King, all adorned with dramatic bas-reliefs. Continue to the mysterious Bayon Temple, highlight of Angkor Thom, replete with beautifully preserved bas-reliefs and more than 172 giant smiling stone faces.

On to the monuments of Ta Keo, Prasat Kravan and Srah Srang before arriving at Ta Prohm, where the jungle was left untouched, as it appeared to European explorers. The high point of the day is the visit to stunning Angkor Wat, a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. World-famous for its beauty and splendor, Angkor Wat has the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the entire outer gallery walls, narrating stories from Hindu mythology.

On the way back to the hotel, make a short stop at Les Artisan d’Angkor, a local handicraft. Located in the center of Siem Reap town, The epicentre is the drive to revitalise Cambodian traditional culture, which was dealt a harsh blow by the Khmer Rouge and the years of instability that followed its rule.

Treat yourself to a memorable night in Siem Reap with dinner accompanied by a classical dance performance. The honored tradition of traditional Khmer dance stretches back over a thousand years to the Age of Angkor when it was popular with Kings and common folk alike.

Day 10: SIEM REAP - HO CHI MINH CITY

This morning, take a short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City.  Upon arrival, our guide will pick you up and drive to Cu Chi Tunnels. The network of over 250km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. Explore the maze of tunnels. Various mantraps and the remains of an American tank are on display. You’ll see numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52s during the great war. After-wards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). For those interested, there’s an opportunity to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range.

Day 11: HO CHI MINH CITY - CAI BE FLOATING MARKET - HO CHI MINH CITY

Drive to Cai Be in the Mekong Delta. Embark on a boat cruise to local workshops to see process of making rice paper, coconut products, pop-rice... Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea. Then, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time. On the way, we can make stop to see how locals wave the dried water-hyacinth to make many products: baskets, bags, hats, wallets, shoes... Come to visit the local garden, we will enjoy some cups of tea when listening to the traditional music. The cruise will back to Cai Be pier where you’ll be picked up for the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
