Pack your bags and head to your departure airport, ready for a flight to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.

Arrive at Lisbon, Portugal’s capital, find your own transportation to your hotel, or you can choose the optional private airport pick-up service ($120 / Person--Minimum to 2 ppl ). After settling in at the hotel, you can begin exploring the city on your own. Overnight stay in Lisbon. 

After breakfast at the hotel, set out on a guided tour around the remarkable eye-opening city of Lisbon. Start with an exciting walk around one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods set on a hill with amazing views of the surrounding cityscape, Alfama. Conclude your morning excursion at the church of the Monastery of Jeronimos, which houses Vasco da Gama’s grave and the tomb of the great poet Camões. Before traveling to the Pasteis de Belem for a mouth-watering pastry sampling session, take a moment to reflect on the beautiful Belem Tower. Try a delectable Portuguese Tart, possibly the country’s most famous pastry. Explore the city center around Praça do Comércio Square and Rossio Square in the afternoon before having some free time to explore the city on your own.

Optional program Day 3 Dinner with Fado Show: U$69/person

Head to Alfama’s historic district for an evening of authentic Portuguese cuisine accompanied by the melancholy sounds of Fado music. Absorb the lovely ambiance while listening to the Portuguese guitar’s sweet melodies.

After breakfast, take a trip to Sintra, an enchanting town and UNESCO World Heritage Site packed with 19th-century Romanticist architecture, fairytale-like castles, and gorgeous gardens. Stop by the Quinta da Regaleira Gardens and Palace, considered the most intriguing of Sintra’s estates. The palace is a fashion of eccentric neo-gothic architecture and ornately carved pinnacles. Still, the main attraction is the extravagant gardens, which are filled with hidden cave passageways, secret spiral stairs, and a host of mystical symbolism. After the tour, spend some free time exploring Sintra at your leisure. Continue to Cape Roca, one of Europe’s westernmost points, in the afternoon. You may enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean while exploring the village of Cascais, formerly the aristocracy’s preferred beach getaway. Return to Lisbon and spend the rest of the day exploring this cosmopolitan city at your leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, visit Obidos, one of Portugal’s most well-known villages due to its enchanting cobblestone alleys and exquisite architecture within ancient city walls. Then, head to Nazare, a surfer’s paradise with the world’s largest waves and the most popular beach on the Silver Coast. Finish the day in Fatima, a historic and intriguing city that is a significant pilgrimage place for Catholics. The Capelinha das Apariçes, where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to local children in 1917, the Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Rosário, with its golden angels, and the modern church of Igreja da Santssima Trindade are among the sacred sites here. Spend the evening at your leisure, taking in the sights and sounds of this magnificent city.

After breakfast, set off for Tomar to see the famed Convent of Christ complex, formerly a Templar stronghold in the 12th century. Discover the Templars’ history in Portugal, including the majestic medieval chapel and the intricate cloister, a Renaissance architectural wonder. Explore this intriguing UNESCO World Heritage site before heading to Coimbra, historically the capital of Portugal and now a student city with the country’s oldest university. As the day ends, travel to Porto, located in northern Portugal on the banks of the Douro River. Porto, with its gorgeous Old Town, is a must-see on any vacation to Portugal. Spend the evening exploring the city’s evocative streets at your leisure.

Optional program: Day 6: Dinner with Fado and Folklore Show in Porto: U$69/person

This evening, you will be treated to a magnificent gastronomy show showcasing the Douro’s outstanding traditions and northern Portuguese culture. This lively evening will feature folklore tunes, traditional dances, and an all-inclusive dinner.

Breakfast at the hotel, and start the day with a panorama tour of Porto, which includes the outside of Clérigos Tower, Aliados Avenue, the spectacular Sao Bento train station, and the landmark Luis I bridge. Spend the afternoon exploring Porto at your leisure, taking in the city’s iconic tiled facades, or sipping on the real local port in a cozy cafe. We highly recommend an exciting Douro River boat cruise.

Optional program: Day 7: River Douro Boat Tour: U$79/person

Set out on an exciting boat tour on the Douro River to take in the city’s breathtaking sights. After traveling along the river, stop by a small port wine cellar for a sampling of this traditional Portuguese drink.

Breakfast is served at the hotel. This morning, depart from Porto for the delightful coastal city of Aveiro, where you will have free time to explore its picturesque canals and colourful buildings. Return to the capital of Lisbon in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure to soak up the atmosphere of this busy city or do some last-minute shopping.

After Breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight, or you can choose the optional private airport drop-off service ( $120 / Person--Minimum to 2 ppl ).
