PERU TRAVEL INFO FOR FIRST-TIME VISITORS
Categories: South America Hits: 13176

Peru is a country with more than 10,000 years of history.

It was the seat of the fabulous Inca Empire, but long before that, ancient civilizations bequeathed to the world superb samples of a glorious past like Caral; the royal tombs of Sipan, the most lavish burial of America; the enigmatic Nasca lines; or the portentous Kuelap fortress.

An exquisite territory, with a cuisine positioned as one of the best in the world. A rainbow of sounds, flavors and colors that are manifested in more than 50 native languages still in use, thousands of dances and ancestral musical instruments that can be seen and heard in large festivals and processions. Peru is a country that encompasses infinite destinations and is home to millions of people who are waiting for it with open arms.
