Essential Items:
Passport, Visa, Insurance Policy, and other necessary travel documents. Air, cruise, or train tickets. A guidebook or a phrasebook with English. Map of places you are going to visit. Emergency card with your detailed contact information consisting of full name, address, phone number, etc. Credit card, Traveler"s checks, and enough cash (South Korean won will be perfect!). First-aid kit. Your medical record and medicines like vitamins, Pepto Bismol, and Imodium chewable. Toiletries. Alarm clock or watch with an alarm. Pocket tissues.
Other Items/Electricity:
For South Korea the associated plug type is F, which is the plug that has two round pins with two earth clips on the side. South Korea operates on a 220V supply voltage and 60Hz.
Clothing/Weather:
The weather in spring (March, April, and May), and Fall (September, October, and November) is cooler, so long-sleeved shirts, pants, and a sweater or jacket will work well.
